As outlined in our constitution, the purpose of Change For Sam is to provide charitable and community services by supplying personal safety devices with security monitoring capabilities to organisations such as The Salvation Army (Alexis Family Violence Response model), Gippsland Centre Against Sexual Assault, WRISC Family Violence Support Inc and other participating agencies.

‍These devices are distributed through our partners violence streams, with our primary goal being to prevent tragic outcomes, such as murders, and to enhance the safety, security, and peace of mind of victim survivors of family violence.We achieve this mission through the acquisition, distribution, and ongoing maintenance of personal safety devices. We also collaborate with relevant entities dedicated to promoting community safety and well-being.

Our vision is to build a community where everyone, especially those who have fled abusive relationships, has the right to feel safe and secure.
